www.amc.org.au is the only official website for the Australian Medical Council. The Australian Medical Council (AMC) is aware that a number of websites exist that provide unauthorised information about the AMC MCQ or Clinical Examinations. Some websites may offer copies of re-constructed AMC MCQ and Clinical Examination questions. The AMC does not endorse these websites or the information presented on these websites. There is evidence from our candidate enquiries that information on unofficial websites can be misleading and inaccurate.
The data from AMC Examinations confirms that memorising questions and answers provided on unofficial websites is a very risky strategy as AMC Examination questions are under continual review. Responses to re-constructed examination questions, given on these websites, can contribute to incorrect responses on AMC Examinations and may disadvantage candidates in their examination performance.
Candidates should be aware that the only source of accurate and reliable information about the format, content and processes of the AMC Examinations is the official AMC website at www.amc.org.au and in official AMC publications.
The following publications are available for purchase direct from the AMC online store (store.amc.org.au) to assist candidates in their preparation for the examination:
